The Preserve

The Marcan Tiger Preserve is located on 80 sprawling acres in the pan-handle of Florida. We currently have developed 13 acres and are continually planning for expansion to utilize this beautiful property.

Each of the two compound areas contain a number of enclosures of different sizes to accommodate animals in varying group sizes. The central part of each compound is a large stable or barn containing indoor feeding cages which also provide shelter during inclement weather. The animals are all brought into this central area for feeding then released back into their respective enclosures, weather permitting.

Tigers are one of the few species of cat that enjoys water. In fact, they are excellent swimmers, and our preserve features a small spring fed lake. Future expansions call for a 10 acre enclosure around this lake and the surrounding meadow.
